
OLLU's Reyna, LCU's Francis receive RRAC golfer of the week awards
WACO, Texas – Annabelle Reyna earned recognition as the RRAC Women's Golfer of the Week for March 17-23, while Blake Francis of Louisiana Christian University claimed the RRAC Men's Golfer of the Week honor for the same dates. This is the fourth set of weekly awards for the 2025 RRAC golf season.
Reyna won her first tournament of the season at the Texas Cup in Rockwall, Texas, last week. The senior from San Antonio carded rounds of 76-81 to finish a stroke ahead of second place. Reyna surpassed the field of 21 golfers and four teams on the par-72 course.
Francis earned the highest place of his college career by tying for fifth in the Hal Sutton Invitational in Bossier City, La. The junior from Rayne, La., scored a five-over two-day total of 149 with seven birdies and 19 pars. Francis posted an impressive 68.4% of holes (26-of-38) while competing in a field of nine teams and 48 golfers.
