This week's honorees are all from Texas A&M-Texarkana, including Jayden Erikewe (men's track), Dexter Lockett (men’s field), Damaria Bell (women’s track), and Vinae Edwards (women’s field).

Christian Sanchez as Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for the dates of March 9-15. This is the fifth set of weekly winners for the 2026 RRAC tennis season.

SHREVEPORT, La. (March 14, 2026) – No. 2 seed LSU Shreveport advanced to the 88th Annual Men’s Basketball National Championship by winning the second round of the Shreveport Bracket. The Pilots edged No. 10 seed Texas Wesleyan University, 70-66. The Rams end their season with a 20-10 record. LSUS prepares for “The Dance,” beginning March 19 in Kansas City, Mo. Team matchups will be announced next week.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (March 14, 2026) – The reigning RRAC regular-season and postseason champion LSU Shreveport suffered a heartbreaking 66-59 loss to Campbellsville (Ky.) (24-7) in the second round of the 2026 Women's Basketball Championship Tournament. Campbellsville, the No. 5-ranked team in the NAIA, will advance to the 45th Annual Women's Basketball National Championships in Sioux City, Iowa, beginning March 19.
Texas A&M-San Antonio ends season with loss in the second round of nationals

WICHITA, Kan. (March 14, 2026) – Texas A&M-San Antonio ended its season with a second-round loss in the 2026 Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament. Hastings (Neb.) won 100-73 and advances to the 45th Annual Women’s Basketball National Championships in Sioux City, Iowa, starting March 19.

The 76-63 victory sends the Pilots to the Campbellsville Bracket Championship game against Campbellsville on March 14 at 2 p.m. The Eagles end their season with an overall record of 17-9. The Pilots improve to 28-4.

The Generals ended their 2026 season with a 23-9 record. Eastern Oregon advances to the Langston Bracket Championship (second round) to face Langston (Okla.) on March 14 at 6 p.m. The winner will reach the 88th Annual Men’s Basketball National Championship, which starts March 19 at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.

Earning their spot are LSU Shreveport, LSU Alexandria, Texas A&M-Texarkana, and Xavier (La.). The first and second rounds will take place at various campus sites from March 13-14. Winners will advance to the 88th Annual Men’s Basketball Championship from March 19-24 at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
