WACO, Texas (Jan. 26, 2026) – RRAC Baseball Player of the Week accolades have been awarded to CJ Richard from Texas A&M-Texarkana, while Pitcher of the Week honors go to Carter Fabre from LSU Alexandria for Jan. 19-25. This is the first set of weekly winners for the 2026 RRAC baseball season.

WACO, Texas (Jan. 26, 2026) – The RRAC Women’s Hoops Players of the Week accolades have been awarded to Jerkayla Dickey from North American (Texas) for Offensive Player of the Week and Alexandra Westerdijk Martin from Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) for Defensive Player of the Week. This is the 12th set of awards for the dates Jan. 19-25.
WACO, Texas (Jan. 21, 2026) – LSU Shreveport finished last season with an undefeated 59-0 overall record, a 30-0 conference record, the RRAC regular-season and postseason trophies, the NAIA championship title, and a visit to the White House. Not surprisingly, the Pilots have been picked first, receiving all 10 first-place votes in the 2026 RRAC Baseball Preseason Poll. The Pilots have won 10 of the last 14 RRAC regular-season titles and nine of the previous 14 RRAC tournament titles.

LSUA and TAMUT take over top spots in the 2026 RRAC Softball Preseason Poll, ending OLLU's four-season reign
WACO, Texas (Jan. 20, 2026) – LSU Alexandria knocked Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) out as the first pick in the 2026 RRAC Softball Preseason Poll, after the Saints were atop every year since 2022. Second-pick Texas A&M-Texarkana, third-pick OLLU, fourth-pick Texas A&M-Victoria, and LSUA all qualified for the NAIA National Championship Tournament in 2025, and all four completed their seasons in the opening round. OLLU and TAMUT went 2-2, while LSUA went 1-2, and TAMUV lost two.
LSUS' Markisic and LCU's Leblanc Named RRAC Women's Hoops Players of the Week
WACO, Texas (Jan. 19, 2026) – The RRAC recognized LSU Shreveport’s Selma Markisic and Louisiana Christian's Kylei Leblanc as winners of the 2025-26 RRAC Women’s Hoops Players of the Week awards. This is the 11th set of awards for the dates Jan. 12-18.
LSUS' Brittingham, UNTD's Crawford Selected as RRAC Men's Hoops Players of the Week
WACO, Texas (Jan. 19, 2026) – (15) LSU Shreveport’s Hayden Brittingham and North Texas-Dallas’ Greg Crawford have been named the RRAC Men’s Hoops Players of the Week for the dates of Jan. 12-18. This is the 11th set of weekly awards.
21 RRAC Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District Awards, Lauren Reynard from OLLU Selected as Academic All-American
WACO, Texas (Jan. 16, 2026) – On Jan. 13, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the volleyball, women’s soccer, and men’s soccer NAIA Academic All-America (AAA) selections, and late last year, the CSC named the NAIA Academic All-District (AAD) student-athletes. Eligible AAD selectees advanced to compete in the AAA awards.

WACO, Texas (Jan. 13, 2026) – Late in 2025, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) proudly announced the 2025 NAIA Scholar-Athletes for fall sports. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the fall sports who have excelled academically, including those sanctioned by the RRAC: men's cross country, men's soccer, women's cross country, women's soccer, and women's volleyball.
