UHV's Biais, Bickelmann garner first RRAC golfer of the week honors of 2025

WACO, Texas – Nathan Biais of the University of Houston-Victoria (Texas) was recognized as the RRAC Men's Golfer of the Week for Feb. 24-March 2, while UHV's Emmily Bickelman was named the RRAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the same dates. This is the first week of awards for the 2025 RRAC golf season. 

Biais closed the UHV Claud Jacobs Invitational in Victoria, Texas, with a bogey-free 68 (-4) to finish in the Top 15 in the final results. The sophomore from Chassors, France, had seven total birdies while posting scores of 73-76-68 in the three-round tournament. The 17th-ranked Jaguars placed second in the team standings.

Bickelmann finished eighth in the women's standings at the Claud Jacobs Invitational at The Club at Colony Creek. The senior from Weisbaden, Germany, recorded rounds of 79-75 for a total of 154. It's the third Top 10 finish this season for Bickelmann, who carded three birdies between the two rounds. Her performance set the pace for the Jaguars, who finished fourth (330-330—360) at the tournament.
