Notes: Made two relief appearances in season-opening series and earned saves in both games. Opponents hit just 0.182 against him as he struck out six in three innings. Came in in the opening game with a runner at third and struck out the only batter he had to face to get out of the jam. In Game 3 he came on with runners at first and third and struck out both batters in face in the inning and then retired all three hitters he faced in the seventh. Also played second base when he wasn't pitching. He did not make an error in five chances and also had a home run in the series and two RBIs with a .571 slugging percentage.
