WACO, Texas (Nov. 17, 2025) – The RRAC has announced that Jordan Decuir from LSU Alexandria has captured the RRAC Men's Hoops Offensive Player of the Week, while Iversyn Smith from Jarvis Christian has been selected as the RRAC Men's Hoops Defensive Player of the Week for the dates Nov. 10-16. 

RRAC Offensive Player of the Week – Jordan Decuir – LSU Alexandria
Senior guard Jordan Decuir led the NAIA's No. 14 LSUA with 26 points in an 88-84 win over Loyola (La.). In the game, he tied for the team lead in rebounds with eight. He had a 7-0 run in the second half to seal the victory for LSUA.

Decuir made 10-of-21 from the field, including 2-of-7 from three-point range, and made 4-of-6 free throws. He is second on his team with 59 points for an average of 14.8 per game.

The Generals are 3-1, and they have won their last three games.

RRAC Defensive Player of the Week – Iversyn Smith – Jarvis Christian
Senior forward Iversyn Smith guided his team to an 80-67 victory over Dallas Christian (Texas). Smith grabbed six offensive rebounds and 15 defensive rebounds for 21 total. Smith added four blocks, three assists and 12 points.

Smith dominates the boards for his team with 57, 17 on offense and 40 on defense. He also leads with 11 steals and 14 blocks.

The Bulldogs are 3-1, and they have won their last three regular-season games.

RRAC Notebook:

• Senior guard Devonte Austin from LSUS scored 30 points in two losses to Nelson (Texas), 91-86, and Freed Hardeman (Tenn.), 82-60.  He added seven rebounds.
• UNTD senior forward Greg Crawford notched the program's first 20-point, 20-rebound game at Huston-Tillotson (Texas). Crawford also set a UNTD men's basketball record for rebounds in a single contest. Crawford is averaging 24.0 points, which is second-best in the RRAC and 15th in NAIA. Crawford has surpassed 20 points in all three games this campaign and has logged 395 career points in 31 games for the Trailblazers.
• OLLU senior guard Kenyon Elliott scored 21 points against Oregon Tech and two vs. Southern Oregon, but the team lost both contests 83-56 and 87-68. Elliott added 11 assists and four rebounds.
• Junior guard Jamarric Hammand and his NAU team suffered an exhibition loss to Texas A&M-Kingsville, 74-44.
• Deovaunta Williams, a senior guard from TAMUT, scored 20 points in the team's 65-60 loss to Texas Wesleyan. He added five rebounds and two steals.
• Senior wing Erin Wright from JCU scored 21 points in the team's 80-67 victory over Dallas Christian. Wright made 7-of-13 from the field and all six of his free throws.
• Senior forward Hayden Brittingham from LSUS grabbed 18 rebounds, plus two steals and five blocks in his team's 82-60 loss to Freed Hardeman.
• NAU senior guard Tevin Gowens and his team suffered an exhibition loss to Texas A&M-Kingsville, 74-44.
• LSUA junior guard TJ James recorded six rebounds, four on offense and two on defense, one block, and one steal as LSUA held off Loyola, 88-84
• TAMUT senior forward Jason Bush Jr. had a double-double, scoring 15 points and adding 10 rebounds, in his team's 65-60 loss to Texas Wesleyan.
• Wahkil Lopez, a senior from OLLU, grabbed a team-leading 11 rebounds, seven on defense and four on offense. He also added two blocks in his team's 83-56 loss to Southern Oregon and 87-68 loss to Oregon Tech.
