WACO, Texas (Oct. 27, 2025) – The RRAC selected LSU Shreveport (La.) for both Players of the Week awards. The Pilots' Jaime Zani is the RRAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Sondre Liahagen-Kolnes is Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 20-26. 

RRAC Offensive Player of the Week – Jaime Zani - LSU Shreveport
Zani, a junior forward, contributed to LSUS' clean sheet over LSU Alexandria (La.) with two goals and an assist as the Generals won 4-0. He added three shots, two on goal. Zani is tied for fourth in the conference with 11 goals, and he is second in assists with nine.

RRAC Defensive Player of the Week – Sondre Liahagen-Kolnes – LSU Shreveport
LSUS junior keeper Liahagen-Kolnes logged four saves in the Pilots' clean sheet against LSUA. He has been in goal for 14 games this season and has 22 saves.

• LSUA forward Pablo Dominguez de Leon converted a penalty to give his team its insurance goal in a 2-0 win over LCU. He recorded an assist on the game-winning goal by Juan Buitrago.
• TAMUT's Jose Medina Cervantes, a junior midfielder, continued to be an offensive threat for the Eagles, scoring in their match against Texas College. He also created several key opportunities on the offensive attack.
• Ignacio Solorza, a senior midfielder from XULA, scored his first goal of the season, and he added one assist in a 3-0 home victory over LCU.
• NAU right-wing Wilman Landaverde scored two goals against OLLU. He recorded six shots, three on goal, and added one assist.
• LSUA senior defender Rhys Fuller anchored a back line, which recorded its eighth clean sheet of the season after a 2-0 win over LCU.
• TAMUT senior defender Carlos Kiel Salmanaca stood tall in defense, breaking up plays and keeping opposing attacks in check.
• XULA junior Sabastian Pinto assisted on the first goal and helped the defense allow one shot on goal in a 3-0 home victory against LCU. XULA is 21st in the NAIA Coaches' Poll, and the team is third in the NAIA with 0.54 goals-against average.
• NAU keeper Gino Burioni recorded 16 saves in matches against OLLU and Texas A&M University – San Antonio (Texas). He has 27 saves so far this season.
