OLLU's Moran, Torres collect RRAC cross country runner of the week awards
WACO, Texas – Isai Moran of Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) collected the RRAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week award for Sept. 29-Oct. 5, while Kristen Torres claimed the Women's Runner of the Week honor for the same dates.
Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week - Isai Moran, Our Lady of the Lake
Moran was victorious in the OLLU Invitational last week. The sophomore won with an individual time of 25:57 in the 8k distance. Moran's victory helped secure a first-place finish in the team standings. This is Moran's second award in the last three weeks.
Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week - Kristen Torres, Our Lady of the Lake
Torres finished fourth in the women's 6k distance with an individual time of 22:20 last week at the OLLU Invitational. Torres helped lead the Saints to a first place finish among four teams.
