UHV's Van der Wath, Bickelmann repeat as RRAC golfers of the week
WACO, Texas – Joshua Van der Wath of the University of Houston-Victoria (Texas) repeats as the RRAC Men's Golfer of the Week for April 14-20, while UHV's Emmily Bickelmann also wins the RRAC Women's Golfer of the Week honor in consecutive weeks. This is the seventh set of weekly awards for the 2025 RRAC golf season.
Van der Wath tied for 12th in the Texas Wesleyan University Spring Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas. The senior from Johannesburg, South Africa, recorded rounds of 71-72-73 on the par-71 course against a field of 59. Van der Wath carded 37 pars in the 54-hole event.
Bickelmann had a season-best round of 74 in the final round of the TWU Spring Invitational to finished tied for ninth. The senior from Weisbaden, Germany, shot 77-83-74 in a field of 39 golfers. Bickelmann had four birdies and only three holes worse than bogey in the tournament. This was her sixth Top 10 finish this year.
