
LSUA's Natt repeats as RRAC Player of the Year in RRAC all-conference announcement
WACO, Texas – For the second consecutive year, Kashie Natt of LSU Alexandria (La.) was named the RRAC Men's Basketball Player of the Year and, this year, he added the Defensive Player of the Year honor. Natt was recognized tonight with the release of the 2024-25 RRAC All-Conference Team.

Natt excelled on both ends of the court while earning his third straight first-team all-conference nod and leading LSUA to the RRAC regular season championship. The senior swingman is fourth in the conference in scoring with 19.5 points per game and he leads all rebounders with 10.1 per game. Natt shot 48.2% from the field. He was third in steals (58) and 12th in blocked shots (25). LSUA is ranked No. 2 nationally heading into tomorrow's RRAC tournament.
Taj Anderson of LSU Shreveport earned the RRAC Newcomer of the Year award after transferring to the Pilots from Nicholls State. The senior guard was second in the conference with 20.2 points per game, and he posted the highest single-game point total of the season in the NAIA with 53. Anderson shot 51.9% from the field and he led the RRAC with 96 three-pointers.
Jyrin Sowell of Texas A&M-Texarkana was recognized as the RRAC Freshman of the Year while sinking 56.6% of his shots from the field. The forward from Natchitoches, La., averaged 6.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
LSUA's Dimario Jackson collected his second consecutive RRAC Coach of the Year award. He has led the Generals to back-to-back conference titles, and LSUA achieved a No. 1 ranking late in the season. Jackson's Generals scored 87.1 points per game, second best in the conference, and they held opponents to 70.2 points per game.
Natt was joined by Tommie Law of Our Lady of the Lake and Norris Williams of Paul Quinn as first-team selections.
