LSUA's Natt, HT's Seals recognized with men's hoops weekly awards

WACO, Texas – Kashie Natt of LSU Alexandria (La.) repeated as the RRAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for Jan. 20-26, while Braelon Seals of Huston-Tillotson University (Texas) claimed the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week honor for the same dates. This is the 12th set of weekly awards for the 2024-25 men's basketball season.

Natt registered a double-double in the Generals' 71-63 victory over crosstown rival Louisiana Christian University. The senior guard from Rayville, La., accounted for 24 points, 16 rebounds and five assists. Natt was 7-of-14 on field goal attempts and 9-of-13 from the free throw line. He leads the RRAC with 10.5 rebounds per game, and he is fourth in scoring with 18.1 points per game. LSUA remains first in the conference at 15-1 with a record of 18-1 on the season.

Seals and the Rams' defense kept North American University (Texas) at bay in a 70-53 victory. The junior guard from San Antonio racked up five steals while putting the clamps on the Stallions. HT improved to 5-11 in league play and 5-13 on the season.
