TEXARKANA, Texas – Louisiana Christian and Xavier advanced to the 2024 RRAC Men's Soccer Championship final with matching 1-0 victories on Thursday. No. 5 LCU clipped top-seeded LSU Shreveport, and No. 2 Xavier went the distance to sink LSU Alexandria in overtime. LCU and Xavier will square off for an NAIA national tournament berth in the championship match on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Judy Kelley Morgan Field on the campus of Texas A&M-Texarkana.

Louisiana Christian elevated their play to earn a return trip to the RRAC final. The only goal of the match came from Thiago Lopes, who struck unassisted at 60:24. The Wildcats' strategic defense was held strong by goalkeeper Rodrigo Silva, who made four crucial saves, keeping LSUS at bay and maintaining the slim lead.
