OLLU returns to the top in RRAC men's cross country, TAMUT's Dorsett wins individual honor
TEXARKANA, Texas – After missing out on last year's title, Our Lady of the Lake reclaimed the 2023 RRAC Men's Cross Country Championships trophy on Friday on the campus of Texas A&M-Texarkana. OLLU now has eight championships including seven straight from 2015-21.

For the second consecutive year, a TAMUT runner raced to the individual championship. Charles Dorsett III broke the tape at this year's event with a time of 26:13.90, four seconds ahead of the field.
OLLU's Kruz Malesich finished just behind Dorsett as the runner-up, and he was joined by six of his teammates in the top 10 including Vincent Garza (3rd) and J.C. Hernandez (4th). Each top 10 finisher receives RRAC all-conference status.
Along with Dorsett on the TAMUT team, Shea Johnson and David Hernandez finished fifth and sixth in the meet.
