OLLU Wins Seventh Consecutive RRAC Women's Cross Country Title, Saints' Kristen Torres is Top Individual

TEXARKANA, Texas (Oct. 31, 2025) – Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) topped the slate at the 2025 RRAC Women's Cross Country Championships with its seventh consecutive title. The event was held on the campus of Texas A&M-Texarkana. The Saints dominated the race, securing four of the five individual finishes and six of the top 10 spots.

OLLU's 11th overall championship logged 18 points, followed by runner-up A&M-Texarkana with 45 points, University of North Texas-Dallas with 92 points, the University of the Southwest (N.M.) with 101 points and Xavier (La.) with 103 points.

Earning the top medalist title was OLLU's Kristen Torres, who marked 21:54.69 in the 6K. She was followed by teammate Mia Curiel, who was last year's top finisher. She recorded a time of 22:22.84. Zaddie Santa Cruz, also from OLLU, took third place with a time of 22:45.97, followed by Zalenka Brannan from A&M-Texarkana with a time of 23:10.68. Fifth place went to OLLU's Liliana Hernandez with a time of 23:22.45.

Along with the top five finishers, the following earned All-Conference honors: Kayla Reeves – A&M-Texarkana (sixth), Leilani Leza – OLLU (seventh), Dayla Vega – OLLU (eighth), Dana Ruiz (A&M-Texarkana (ninth) and Elianna Saenz – Southwest (10th).

OLLU's Zaddie Santacruz secured the Freshman of the Year award.
