Following are the semifinal summaries:

LSUA led from wire-to-wire and had seemingly finished off Xavier when the Generals' Jewel Jones sank a three-pointer with 6:23 to play for a 60-46 lead.

Xavier caught fire from there scoring seven points in 23 seconds with a pair of turnovers and a three-pointer from Janiya Reed before extending to a 9-0 run.

LSUA's Dannah Martin-Hartwick steadied the ship with a three-pointer and a layup, but three-pointers from Reed and Lauren Banks pulled Xavier to within 65-61. The Generals allowed one more basket then held the Gold Nuggets' scoreless in the final 2:26 to pull away.

Martin-Hartwick finished with a game-high 22 points, while Jones scored 14, and Benedetta Peracchi chipped in 12 for LSUA. Reed led the Gold Nuggets with 16 points, while Kam Shelley and Banks scored in double-figures.

Xavier is 27-3 on the season, while LSUA improves to 17-6 with a shot at a trip to the NAIA tournament tomorrow.

LSU Shreveport 81, Texas A&M-San Antonio 61

The Pilots won their 21st consecutive game and proved to be too much for the Jaguars, who are completing their inaugural year. TAMUSA fell behind early but fought back to narrow the gap to 20-18 on a three-pointer from Natalia Trevino in the second quarter. LSUS stretched the lead to 42-32 at halftime then opened the third quarter on a 10-0 run and never looked back.

Selma Markisic led LSUS with 21 points with support from Helena Galunic with 14 points and Alexis Brown with 12. Galunic also had 13 rebounds.

Trevino finished with a double-double by scoring a game-high 25 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for the Jaguars. TaMya Whitemon added 12 points.
