LCU's Monnet, Xavier's Dagher collect last RRAC women's soccer weekly awards of the season

WACO, Texas – Emma Monnet of Louisiana Christian University was honored as the RRAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Nov. 4-10, while Shakiana Dagher of Xavier University (La.) received the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week award for the same dates. This is the 12^th and final set of conference awards for the 2024 women's soccer season.

Monnet played a part in each of the Wildcats' goals in a 3-1 victory over Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) in the RRAC Women's Soccer Championship quarterfinals. The senior forward from Yzeure, France, netted the first (48^th minute) and third (79^th minute) LCU goals. Monnet also assisted on the game-winning goal by Zoi Arkirvaki in the 56^th minute. It was the 11^th time she has scored more than one goal in a game in her career. Monnet's 29 points are 12^th best in the conference this season. LCU will play in the semifinals of the RRAC tournament on Tuesday as the No. 2 seed. The Wildcats are 13-4-2 on the season.

Dagher led a Xavier defense that shut out the University of Houston-Victoria (Texas) over the match's final 88 minutes to clinch a 4-1 victory in the RRAC quarterfinals. The junior defender from Barquisimeto, Venezuela, helped limit UHV to five shots on goal as the Gold Nuggets rallied. Dagher also scored one of Xavier's goals in the process. The Gold Nuggets hold the No. 3 seed in the RRAC tournament and advanced to the semifinals with a 12-5-1 record.
