TAMUT's Williams three-peats as RRAC women's hoops player of the week

WACO, Texas – Kayla Williams of Texas A&M University-Texarkana claimed her third straight RRAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor for her performance over the dates of Feb. 5-11. This is the 15th award of the 2023-24 women's basketball season.

Williams continued to put up big numbers with 23.0 points and 14.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Eagles. The junior forward from San Diego accounted for 24 points and 15 boards in a victory over Texas College, and she scored 22 in a loss to Jarvis Christian University (Texas). Williams connected on 16-of-28 shots from the field and 10-of-14 from the free throw line for the week. She is fourth in the conference in points scored (17.0) and second in rebounds (10.8) per game. TAMUT holds at 9-8 in the RRAC and 12-11 overall.
